Question Newest post first

Hi,

I have set Newest Post First, and have noticed that when a topic has so many posts that it becomes paginated, after posting a reply I am landed at the top of page 1, when I should really be landed at the top of the last page (where the last post is).

Is this a bug, a setting someplace, or a code oversight?
