Kunena 7.0.4 Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.4 [K 7.0.4] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0

Topics that are moved into this category are generally considered to be closed. Users may want to add additional information but these topics should not be resurrected in order to discuss new problems or unrelated matters.

One of o my users was writing a long message in the forum and all of a sudden, he was logged out and his long message was lost ... what to to?!

Maybe he had not marked "remember me" at login.
Important! Always create a backup before you make any changes to your website!

Hi,

I can confirm this as a BUG. Somehow the keep alive logic got lost in the K1.6 trunk. I have fixed the issue and RC3 should no longer have this problem. As long as you are on the post screen, a java script keep alive signal will be sent to the server, making sure you stay logged in.

The fix has been committed and is now installed here on kunena.com for final testing.

RC3 is due out later this week.
