Hello, I swear I saw it a couple of days ago but now when I login as super admin or moderator I don't see the sticky icon. Could I have turned it off by mistake in the configuration? I had switched off the topic icons but it's not there when I enabled them again. Or maybe I edited a file a accidently deleted it, but I don't know which one?.
Can anyone point me in the right direction?

many thanks

There's probably an easy way to fix this problem. First of all, K 1.6 has a very useful feature on the backend shown in the attached partial screenshot - to set your configuration back to default or "factory settings":

Secondly, if you reinstall Kunena, you will also reinstall all files in the standard file locations. Basically, you are now looking for the file ../components/com_kunena/template/<your-template>/images/icons/tsticky.png. If you using the default template, you are looking for the file ../components/com_kunena/template/default/images/icons/tsticky.png

Thank you so much for the quick reply.
Just one question..Will this revert my template css changes too?
Does it revert everything back as it was first installed.

Thanks

Hello,

If you revert back the config, your CSS changes will be untouched.

Maybe you have modified something in the CSS, which has made disappear the sticky icon.

I don't provide support by PM, because this can be useful for someone else.

That's a difficult question to answer. It depends on what you mean by "it".

Does pressing the Default button revert your CSS changes? No, pressing the Default button will not revert any custom CSS changes.

Does pressing the Default button revert everything back as it was installed? No, pressing the Default button will only revert your configurations settings back to their default ("factory pre-set") state.

Does reinstalling Kunena revert everything back as it was first installed? No, reinstalling Kunena will not change your configuration settings but it will copy all files needed by Kunena in their standard, default file locations.

Does reinstalling Kunena mean that I'll lose my customised CSS changes? This depends entirely on whether you created your own template or not. If you merely modified the default (Blue Eagle) CSS file(s) then you will overwrite those files with those contained in the installation kit. This is to be expected, of course, because the default template CSS resides in a standard file location that is used by the installation process. Any files that reside in standard file locations (in any software) are candidates for being replaced by that software's automated installation procedure. Kunena is no different in that regard. To preserve your changes, you need to make your own version of your template. In other words, our recommendation has always been: do not modify the files in the template/default or template/example folders.

This topic is starting to over-reach the original question which was "what happened to my sticky icon?" I don't know what happened to your sticky icon. I think you deleted the file, but that's just a guess.

I have just redownloaded and done a fresh install on a test site. I don't see the sticky when logged on as super admin or as a user with global moderation rights.
I didn't change anything in the configuration, it was as installed:dry:
