Hello,

There are 2 issues I like to clear on my forum.

  1. I can't seem to turn on the ranks. I turned it on in the backend, but it says I allso have to turn on user statistics on the frontend. There is a tab called frontend, but I don´t see any user statistics. I must be doing something worng, but I can´t figure out what it is.
  2. The status on the forum doesn´t tell me Online or Offline, but COM_KUNENA_OFFLINE or COM_KUNENA_ONLINE

Maybe it´s a language setting or a missing language folder. I am working in a dutch language (NL) and it looks like some dutch files are missing, but I am not sure. Is there someone that can give me a push in the right direction?

Thanks,
Rene

Hello,

1. This one isn't very clear for me, can-you please rephrase your explanation and maybe give screenshots if it can help.
2. I think this strings are missing from your dutch languages file. Look here :: docs.kunena.com/index.php/What_is_the_la...e_file_in_kunena_1.6 , check the en-GB folder and compare with your language folders if you the same files...

I don't provide support by PM, because this can be useful for someone else.

Hi,

I attached a screenshot for the ranking settings.
It says ranking yes, but there are no rankings visible in Kunena.
Website and kunena are all in Dutch, and languagefile is installed.

On the right there is a text: Opmerking: gebruikers statistieken moeten ingeschakeld zijn in de frontend configuratie, which means : User statistics have to be enabeled in the frontend configuration. I really don't have a clue on how to do this.

As for no:2, I reinstalled the dutch langaugefile and this is working OK now.

Hi there,

after I did this my forum went down.

I attached a screenshot of what happens when I want to go to the forum with firefox.

Internet explorer just gives a dead link.

The same thing happens when I try to reach kunena in backend.
I get the same message that it tries to open a php file.
All other modules and plugins can be reached, except kunena.

So, just to be sure I understand this correctly. Your problem is not so much that you can't manage ranks or the untranslated language strings for "online" and "offline". The problem is that now you do not have a working Kunena forum at all. Is that correct?
