Some minor problems was created by ralfakerkhoff
Hi,
just installed RC2 on my site:
wwww.pixel-wonders.de
I have noticed some problems:
1.In profile settings the user is able to change his password to 1 character.
2. Changing the avatar with the default ones that came with the installation works fine.
Changing the avatar to a larger image results in a:
open_basedir restriction in effect. File(/tmp) is not within the allowed path(s): )
in /var/html/Joomla/components/com_kunena/lib/kunena.file.class.1.5.php
An open_basedir warning depending on the size of an image ?
Any tips are welcomed

Hi
I think there is something wrong happened during installation. I would suggest you to once uninstall and the reinstall it. It might help you.

Hi,
it can't be the installation. The problem is reproducable on a local fresh Jommla installation, on an existing local site and on the live site.
The 1 char password possibility occurs in Kunena 1.5 too.
Cheers

Hello,
1°) I don't know what's the password length minimal in Joomla! ?
2°) I have already seen sometime this issue. I think that your hoster has some securities things enabled which limit the avatar upload.
Can-you please put here the report configuration : www.kunena.com/forum/168-k-16-support/56...-when-asking-support

Hi,
the minimum password lenght is 4 characters by default.
I'll check the security settings later at home.
Cheers

Hi,
it must really be the size of the avatars. Converted all avatars to 64x64 and the problem is gone
