I mean this: Index Recent Topics New Topic No Replies My Topics Profile Rules Help Search

I was editing a certain module called Kunena Menu and I changed the position from kunena something and when I want to revert it back I couldn't find that position.

Now.. the forum doesn't have those nice looking BOX thing on them. So how do I bring it back?

In the module position drop down box TYPE IN:
kunena_menu

(Many people do not realize the drop down doubles as an entry field)

Its a Joomla menu. You need to pick a format that your current template supports. What you are seeing is an un-styled list.

Go into the Module Manager in the Joomla backend, filter on mod_mainmenu.

You should find your existing top menu and a Kunena Menu in there.

Check out the menu style. The one currently selected in the Kunena Menu is not styled in your template. Pick another one that has the proper styling.

Hope this helps!

I'm stunned by the fact that you have managed to get both the active state on the menu link, having the Kunena menu showing and yet using the same template as I am. Though I can see that some CSS is being lost, its still a remarkable thing.

Can I ask how your menu item named Forum in the main menu is configured?

Sorry of OTing your thread, but maybe you have found the solution to my one issue with Kunena ;)

Ed1t: Find the Kunena Menu module and change the Menu Style to "List". I can only guess this is the issue.

I did the Kunena menus and wrote how I did it into here:

docs.kunena.com/index.php/Creating_customized_menus

Basically you need to do it in Joomla way, using their menu manager. I'm trying to allocate some time to finish this wiki page, as it's pretty intuitive and powerful feature once you get the idea behind it.
