Kunena 6.3.0 released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 6.3.0 [K 6.3.0] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 4.4.x/5.0.x/5.1.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 6.3

SMTP mailer error was created by dontregartha

I use the smtp mailer option to email from the site, as I need to relay via my client's mail server.
Kunene is configured to use the php mailer and so an error occurs if it attempts to send a notification email.
Can I change the settings somewhere?

G'day, dontregartha, and welcome to Kunena.

I'm not sure about using relay mail servers and Kunena. I've never experimented with this myself. Email notifications from Kunena normally use whatever works with Joomla. If the rest of mail works from your site then Kunena should also work. Try resetting your Kunena forum configuration back to the default, then change the Kunena forum email address to the same as what you're using in your Global Configuation, to see if this works.

It's hard for me to suggest anything else at this time, but it would help if you read the posting guide printed at the top of this page. Many "support" issues are quickly resolved when we have a user's configuration report in front of us. Perhaps someone else may have some clues/tips? :unsure:
