Kunena 7.0.4 Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.4 [K 7.0.4] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0

On your download page I have downloaded several plugins and Kunena 1.7.

The plugin I am most interested in using is JomSocial Kunena Groups Plug-in 1.7.0 and the closest I have gotten is having it actually create the group topic. No other replies or discussions is ever copied to the topic. Not that I can see. The topic gets created by jomsocial but I don't have a user jomsocial.... How can I get this plugin to work? There is no documentation and you offer it on your main download page. I would assume if it does not actually work you would not have it on the download page?

I looked up the mootools and 1.7.1 has it in the core.
Potentially this is a good concept plugin and I am not against a little effort to get it going.

I am new to J 1.7.1 and it has some interesting permission abilities now.
I use all this for news aggregation and topic discussions.
I can see the advantage of using the forum for group discussions if:

1. I can get the plugin working
2. If the forum posts can be completely isolated for a private group.

I am not a genius and not an ignorant man either.
I have a couple decades of computing under my belt.

If I am missing something in Apache... PHP... whatever.... i can add it.
If there is a code hack.... I can handle it...
Perhaps there is an author I can contact or a website?
