The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.4 [K 7.0.4] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. Question K 1.7 template spills into right rail

Hiya.

I'm new to Kunena, though a longtime J! user.

I have an instance of J 1.5.22 installed on a Godaddy Linux site (Apache, PHP 5.2.17). The template is a modification of Beez. I installed K 1.6.4 a few months back, using the default Blue Eagle template and while there were some display problems, they were minor. My version of Beez uses both right and left "rails" which with padding are about 250px wide. Beez is a fixed-width template of about 1000px; this leaves Blue Eagle with about 500px.

K 1.6.4 had wrapped the buttons at the top across two lines (same with "Topic Icon") and the "Boardcode" and "Message" blank were downsized to the available space.

Yesterday I upgraded to K 1.7.0 and the result is that everything stretches into the right rail ... the tabs go across, the header goes across, the "Topic icons" run into the right rail material, as do the "Boardcode" and "Message" blanks.

Can someone provide me pointers where I can go into the CSS and change Blue Eagle back to fitting within the allotted space?

Or is there an easy way to roll back to 1.6.x? I have a backup, but it would be easier just to install the old version; unfortunately, I can't find it on the web site and I didn't keep a copy.

Thanks.

I cannot help with template changes, but you can just install K1.6 and you're done with it.

You can also try if just copying the old template back helps.

Maitas:

Thanks for your insight.

Initially, I couldn't find older versions of Kunena but finally found them on the second page of the "other download types" web page.

I downloaded 1.6 and was going to upload the template when I thought dawned on me: I wonder what the "example" template in 1.7 looks like?

It wraps correctly.

Thanks.
