500 Internal Server Error
Fatal Error was detected!

Fatal Error: Access to undeclared static property: KunenaAccessJoomla16::$viewLevels in components/com_kunena/libraries/integration/joomla16/access.php on line 127

The error was detected in the Kunena Component.

For support click here: Kunena Support

The problem here is that the existing fix doesn't work as the following doesn't exist structurally.

/libraries/integration/joomla16/access.php

Anyone know when it'll be incorporated so we CAN fix this on Joomla 1.7? Drives me nuts!

Known issues in Kunena 1.7.0 is what I find here but never tested it because I don't get that error.

The problem with the reported fix in the other thread indicates is that under 1.7 the following folder/file structure doesn't exist.

/libraries/integration/joomla16/access.php

this is non-existent, so it's a bit difficult to change a line of code in a file that doesn't exist. Make sense?

It's explained here : www.kunena.org/forum/168-k-16-and-k-17-s...in-kunena-170#105763 , the file is located in : /administrator/components/com_kunena/libraries/integration/joomla16/access.php

Why it's so hard to find the file : /administrator/components/com_kunena/libraries/integration/joomla16/access.php ?

This will be fixed in K1.7.1

You can use this :

This path does not exist using the latest combination of Joomla 1.7 and Kunena 1.7.

I think this is where a lot of the confusion is coming from based on the image you posted above.

Can you kindly reply with the fix for this combination. Our forums are becoming unusable as most every post responds with this error, even though the post will actually make into the forums.

If you'd like to see this in action, go register on my domain and email me and I am happy to walk you through this on both the front end and let you see the back side of it as well if it will help.

Thank you,

Sabre
