Question SEF URL

Hi everybody,
I need your help for creating sef url.

I would like to have urls like this:
www.mysite.com/section/category/nameofthetopic

instead I have this:
www.mysite.com/component/kunena/category...eofthetopic?Itemid=0 (for single topic)
www.mysite.com/component/kunena/category?Itemid=0 (for category)

What I do wrong?

what is your Joomla version? Are you using any sef extensions (sh404, joomsef, acesef, ...)?

Joomla is 1.7 and I don't use SEF additional components

First you should enable debug to display why you're not having menu item assigned to your page. Solving that will fix 80% of your problems.

The rest 20%: unfortunately Kunena doesn't currently support section in SEF URLs. Also topic names are not unique which effectively prevent Kunena from identifying them by name -- so id is mandatory to recognize topic.
