Question JS G Kunena error after upgrading

i have upgraded Kunena from 1.6.4 to 1.7.

JS G Kunena givedoes not work anymore and gives this error msg:

JS G Kunena is something which isn't supported by Kunena, you need to change tables collation : docs.kunena.org/index.php/Change_databas...es_with_a_php-script

Generally you can downgrade only bugfixes without getting issues. But in this case you should be able to do it without getting issues.

Just remember to take backup.

www.akeebabackup.com/software/admin-tools.html - has a tool to change the database Collation, and its free. That might fix the problem for you, but don't quote me on that.
