Question Kunena 1.7 + CB Groups = no categories

Ive got kenuna integrated with cb groups and kenuna discuss

All works fine for me as an admin and for the forum admin

But recently I upgraded cb groups "groupjive rc" and Ive had issues with it , thus Ive disabled it for now until the fianl release, it seemed to be affecting the kenuna forums wher invisible topics to guest became vivsible, (until then people had to register and auto join a group to view these forums) thus groupjive is now disabled for the time being

But Ive just realised that registered users can see "recent topics" but not the main category forum (apart from "kenuna discuss forums"

The main section for our forum (on admin panel)has "community builder" next to it, which nulls the settings on the section, in other words I can't edit the main section to allow all users to see the main forums using kenuna

So basically, I need "registered users " to be able to sdee the main forums

"New topic" although working for me ...does'nt work for registered users, they only get the kenuna discuss forum on the drop down and the main forum but you can't clcik on it

Everything is outdated, you need to upgrade joomla to 1.5.23, Kunena to 1.6.5, UddeIm to 2.4, Kunena Discuss to 1.6.5 and kunena lastest to 1.6.5

Ive upgraded to joomla 1.5.23, kenuna 1.7, discuss 1.7,

however Im getting no where with uddelim, still using 2.1

can't upgrade, site will not accept upgrade

Do you think this problem may be caused by GroupJive, perhaps ... or CB Groups (or whatever they're called these days) and have you commenced any investigation of the problem with the good folks at Joomlapolis?

I don't understand the comment "can't upgrade, site will not accept upgrade" which, I assume, you mean in relation to uddeIM. Have you asked why you can't upgrade uddeIM at the developer's website?

yes Im looking into it...its more to do with my lack of time and tech knowledge, no doubt I will get there
