Kunena 7.0.4 Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.4 [K 7.0.4] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0

I have nearly a fresh install of Kunena 1.65 on Joomla 1.5.22.

And all looks good except: I seem to be missing a Register Link. I have a nearly standard profilebox with login and forgot username and forgot password. But there is no Register Link. I know that Kunena borrows Joomla's register component. But I can't sort out what I'm missing. The forum is here: inspireawards.ca/content/forum/index .

I sorted out the answer while I was thinking through the problem. So this post isn't a question anymore but an answer instead. I was successfully logical but just not fast enough so this might save someone who is not as logical or not as quick a little time.

Since Kunena borrows Joomla's registration, the registration link will be missing until you do this:
Site > Global Configuration > System > User Settings: click radio button: Allow User Registration: Yes.
