Question Only one user can access forum at a time

I have a problem which seems to result in only one user being able to access the Kunena discussion forum at once. Example scenario is 2 users logged into the site - one goes into the forums ok - the second goes in to the forum - this logs the first user out of the site. It seems to be an entirely repeatable problem.

The forum has been live for a few weeks but only found out this was happening today when someone complained.

Seems like a pretty drastic problem for a discussion forum. Has anyone else experienced this and what is the fix?

Login and registration are both handled by Joomla (or its plugins) and has nothing to do with Kunena. You are the first one to complain about this and I've never seen anything like this before. For example Kunena.org has usually 50-100 users logged in.

Thank you for your response. Yes, I originally thought the problem was happening only when a user went into the forum, but, on further investigation, I find that's not the case, it's the whole site. With 2 users logged in at the same time, when one hits a menu item, it logs the other out. Very weird and I hope I can find out what's causing it.
