The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.4 [K 7.0.4] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0
Topics that are moved into this category are generally considered to be closed. Users may want to add additional information but these topics should not be resurrected in order to discuss new problems or unrelated matters.
I have sucessfully installed Kunena with Joomla and Jomsocial. I would like to create a new forum for each group within JomSocial which I beleive I can do with another product.
My question is about the default topics though. When I make a new forum for each group I would like there to be a default category and set of topics within it. This is very much like when I first installed the product it came up with the welcome topic - I just a few more of those each time a forum is created.
Any ideas where that topic is added on install? Does the installer add it to the DB or is it in the code somewhere?
You can use our JomSocial groups plugin to create categories into JomSocial groups. Actually it kind of supports the whole tree of categories, but that's enabled in K2.0 only as it has category administration in frontend.
I cannot fully understand your question. Categories are all empty when you create them. You need to add them by yourself.
