hi folks, i am running a website using kunena 1.7 on jm175. the issue is when a topic title reaches more than certain length, it will not show the title at all. however, i tested this on my local machine and on a friends host it worked fine. i changed the max length in kunena config, that only makes the difference of being able to type up to that length and then once u save it and refresh, whatever words you typed within that length should auto wrap and new lines will extend the height of text box. however, on my host, the title is way shorter than the max limit, i know it is because as i could still type, just once it reaches a certain random length i dont know where was it defined, the title disappears from topic list, where as u still can see the author and time of post, as well as when u click to enter and view the post u see the title properly, again shows that i didnt not reach the length limit. i assume its host issue or database issue, anyone could give some advise on what this could be and what are the right things to change within my host and database setting to resolve this issue.

many thanks in advance, i would really appreciate any help.

Please read the posting guide printed at the top of this page for topics posted in this support category. The answer lies in your forum configuration settings, I think but it could also be affected by your Joomla site template CSS and the Kunena template file CSS that you may be using.

thanks you very much for re response, but thing is, how could it be kunena config or css, because i have completely transferred the exact entire site using akeeba backup from 1 host to another and to another, and it works fine over there, only happens on my host :(, please if u could have a quick check for me in regards to the hosting requirements in relation to kunena.

many thanks in advance

I would start by checking if the subject is in the html source code. If it does, you have CSS issue. Otherwise the issue is somewhere else.
