Please read the FAQ information - the posting guide - posted at the top of this page, in particular What information should I include when I ask for help (including how to post my configuration report)? for faster answers to topics posted in the K 1.7 Support category.

K 1.7.1 is not supported; please upgrade to K 1.7.2. Chances are that you have modified your Kunena configuration settings to disable showing emoticons (smileys) but we won't know until we see your configuration report.
