I have been using Kunena 1.7.2 for a while now with no issues.
When I upgraded my Joomla from 1.7.3 to 2.5.4 all seemed fine until I when to the Kunena postings.

The site menus have started showing beside the forum content.

I went to the Joomla Module Manager to set the menu to NOT show on the Kunena pages but found the option to do that gone.

The Kunena tab is empty..

It used to look like this so I could set each menu to NOT show.

Any insight as to how to fix this would be appreciated.

G'day, robs22, and welcome to Kunena.

Thanks a lot for the pictures.

The problems sound like a Joomla bug because, after all, Kunena menu items are only Joomla menu items. So, if you lost your Joomla menu items as a result of upgrading Joomla (and not as the result of anything else you might have done) one would have to wonder why this might be a Kunena "product support" issue. However, I think there's an easy way out.

I suggest that you look at the FAQs menu tab above the forum page that you're now viewing and find the section that is called How do I restore my Kunena menu? and, if take things carefully, I think you will have your site returned to normal within about 5 minutes. Use the "trash-burn-build" technique! ;)
