Kunena 7.0.4 Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.4 [K 7.0.4] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0

Forum main menu item not active while browsing kunena was created by toohinc

Hi all.

Sorry if this post is about another same problem, but after i read a lot here in kunena I jus tcan´t fix my problem.

I installed joomla 2.5.3 and kunena 1.7.2. While installing kunena everything went great.

I activated the kunena main menu item wich kunena created in the installation, and the menu has this settings:

Menu Title: Forum
Alias: 2012-03-17-18-57-22
Menu item type: Menu item alias

Problem now is when I click this forum menu item it shows my kunena forum but the main menu item is not active. I´ve tried deleting all menu items and menus and recreated all of them from scratch but the problem remains.

Now I have a clean installation and i´m hoping someone can help me here.

We ask, when people post their questions in the K 1.7 Support category, that people read the Guide to posting questions when asking for support which appears on the Index page of this forum (and it's also printed at the top of the page you are looking at now, too). The posting guide contains important information that helps you to help us to answer your questions more efficiently and effectively. Please refer to the instructions in the posting guide and see what other information you can also give us to help you better.

Most probably you have not setup your Joomla menu correctly. See How do I restore my Kunena menu? . Maybe this will help you?
