Hi everyone,

We are integrating a Kunena 1.7.1 forum into a Joomla 1.5.25 website.

Everything works pretty fine... almost...

We have added a Forum entry into the Joomla main menu. From this menu entry, forum page is displayed and menu tab shows the classical : index, Recent Topics, Search...

In the joomla main menu, we have added other entries linked to forum categories. When one of these entries is clicked, forum page is displayed within the right category but the classical menu bar is replaced by a menu bar that shows a list of the menu entries linked to categories...

Is it a normal behavior? We would prefer to always have the regular menu tab displayed...

Any help very welcome!
TIA
Best Regards,

Fred

Hello frogybella welcome to Kunena.org. Please post your forum configuration report and if you can a screen shot of the issue. We can then take a closer look to see what is going on.

Please see Customised menus in the Wiki for the answers.

Please upgrade to K 1.7.2 and, after doing that, please post your updated and unedited K 1.7 configuration report. Thank you.

Hi,

Finally, we solve the problem by using alias for Joomla entry menu (as explain in the documentation...) instead of direct link to the kunena component.

Thank you for your help,
Regards,
Fred
