The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 6.4.13 [6.4.13] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x./6.1.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 6.0
Hint: This version is primarily intended to facilitate an upgrade if Joomla was first updated to version 6.1 before Kunena was up to dated.

Hello together,

first i was looking for a comments system for joomla 1.7 but without succsess. So i thought about a forum and found Kunena.
Here is what im looking for.
Maby there its possible to set the Gender at the login and appropriate the poeple to a gender specific group?

I have two usergruopes : male and female
and i have two Kategories : categorie1 and categorie2

the rights are like this:

the males can only post in cat1 and the girls in cat 2

now i want that only girls can comment the posts in cat1 and there own comment
and that boys only can comment in cat2 and there own.

And not registred poeple should be able to read the comments , but not to write them.

is it possible to implement such a rights management or does it already exist?
