Kunena 6.4.9 & Kunena 7.0.1 Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 6.4.9 [K 6.4.9] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.0.x/5.1.x/5.2.x/5.3.x/5.4.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 6.4

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.1 [K 7.0.1] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.0.x/5.1.x/5.2.x/5.3.x/5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0

Important note: Go to the Kunena Dashboard after an upgrade so that the Kunena database tables are also updated. This is particularly necessary for major version jumps so that the table changes are adapted.

This category is only for reporting defects or problems with Kunena 1.6 test versions with Joomla 1.6. This is NOT a support forum - there is no support for test versions. Users should NOT install K 1.6 alpha or beta test versions on websites with live production data.

G'day there!

I'm trying to get Artio JoomSEF 4 working with Kunena 1.6.3 on Joomla 1.6.3.

I can't get it working on the Kunena pages because there is no JoomSEF 4 plugin for Kunena.1.6.3.

I found a couple of forum posts on this site. Aparrently a bit of argy bargy going on and some hurt feelings. There's a link to the KED and then a link to a download page on a private site:

Kunena 1.6 is the new version of this excellent forums component. If anyone has experienced problems using Artio JoomSEF after the update to Kunena I leave the extension for download.

It's on about the third page of the blog.

I've downloaded the file. It's a php file and there are no instructions where to put it. The file is com_kunena.php. Maybe it should go in the folder components/com_kunena along with several other files including one called kunena.php.

To my php illiterate mind it looks pretty impressive but I have no idea if it will work, destroy my whole site or something in between.

I'd really appreciate some advice on this.

It's OK, thanks. I've deleted the lot and am rebuilding in J1.5.23. Seems to be going better.
