Kunena 7.0.4 Released
The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.4 [K 7.0.4] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0
Question Cannot modify/update user account, avatar image; untranslated language strings
Well I guess Kunena 1.6 is not ready for Joomla 1.6 even the name sounds like that.

i re-installed it again for the fourth time but it still gives me the language error
all the save buttons (as you can see on my screenshots) are not working
the titles are not showing up either, blurting some capital letters like KUNENA_CP
plus i wanted to integrate "sign up with your facebook account" on the kunena forum
anyone can guide me on that ?

Take a look at the official guide it says that the installer of Kunena 1.6 fails on Joomla! 1.6. So I ask myself how you had been able to install successfully.

Observations:
(1) The category description for the K 1.6 Support category - in which these messages were originally posted - clearly states:
The last line of this advice is particularly relevant. This category is for Kunena version 1.6 issues only. For a faster response, please make sure you include your K 1.6 configuration settings report in your posts. We do NOT support test versions. Before asking for support, please read the guides posted as sticky topics in this category.
Please do not use this category to ask for help if K 1.6 does not work for you in the same way as it works here at this website. Please do not use this category to request a change to the standard behaviour of Kunena.
While Joomla 1.6 is still in beta, there is no support for J! 1.6-related issues.

No-one should ever use a beta version of anything for live production work. That's where the problems began. J! 1.6 is still in beta. This means it's there for people to experiment with but, if they attempt to use it for a real, live website, they have to accept all the risks that it may not work 100%.I'm having the same errors too and that is blocking my work seriously, cant do anything cos i was the one who proposed kunena instead of phpbb.
(3) The intention of the K 1.6 project was to make it ready for J! 1.6. The design and development work on the project began in February this year. The project team could not afford to delay a stable public release any longer while waiting for J! 1.6 development to continue. Although it is still the intention that K 1.6 should be compliant for J! 1.6 this is still a work-in-progress.
Owing to the many demands from Kunena users to attend to problems they have discovered with J! 1.5, there has not been sufficient resources available to complete the work for J! 1.6. If anyone would like to assist the development team in that activity, we would love to hear from you.
Conclusion:
Thank you, equatorlounge, for your reports about the difficulties you seem to be having with J! 1.6. I am sure the development team will look at those matters and work through the issues. In the meantime, I really think that you should not be looking at a K 1.6 J! 1.6 solution. I think a better solution would be a K 1.6 J! 1.5 solution. There are also other alternatives (e.g. a standalone forum solution, like phpBB) if your need is urgent.
As you can see, I have separated the messages relating to this subject from the original topic .
It would also help the development team if you could, at the end of this discussion, post your K 1.6 configuration report. Thank you.

i have considerable experience in user interface design and visual aesthetics
one more thing: how can i submit the report you talked about?
