Kunena 6.2.5 & module Kunena Latest 6.0.7 released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 6.2.5 [K 6.2.5] which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 4.3.x/4.4.x/5.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.1 / K 6.2 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 6.2

This category is only for reporting defects or problems with Kunena 1.6 test versions with Joomla 1.6. This is NOT a support forum - there is no support for test versions. Users should NOT install K 1.6 alpha or beta test versions on websites with live production data.

Hey,

I get this error when I install Kunena 1.6

* Error loading component: com_kunena, 1
* JFile::write(/var/www/vhosts/joombeta2.de/httpdocs/components/com_kunena/template/default/images/emoticons/neutral.png): fopen(ftp://[email protected]:21/httpdocs/components/com_kunena/template/default/images/emoticons/neutral.png) [function.fopen]: failed to open stream: Operation now in progress
* Unable to write entry
* Error loading component: com_kunena, 1
* Kunena Forum cannot be installed!

Extract Component
1: Prepare Installation ... OK
2: Uncompressing admin.zip ... OK
2: Uncompressing site.zip ... Failed The file '/var/www/vhosts/joombeta2.de/httpdocs/administrator/components/com_kunena/archive/site.zip' could not be uncompressed


What can I do?

the j1.6 installer is still very buggy but the joomla team are working on that

Look in Help -> System info -> Diretory Permissions if all things are marked like writable.
