Kunena 7.0.4 Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.4 [K 7.0.4] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0

so konnte ich hier in diesem Thema nicht lesen.
deswegen teste ich jetzt mit dem pm von communitybuilder

Wie groß sind denn die chancen daß uddeIM an php8 angepasst und in Kunena 6 funktionieren könnte?

Nach meinem Wissen liegt die Chance praktisch bei Null, da der Author dieser Software bekannt gegeben hat, dass er Uddeim nicht mehr an Joomla 4.x anpassen wird. 
Wenn sich niemand findet, der dies übernimmt und diese Software weiter entwickelt, ist wohl Schluss damit.

Das ist schade. Jetzt habe ich gerade meine Livesite auf php8.1 umgestellt und wenn kunena 6 fertig ist, könnte ich auf Joomla 4.1.2 umsteigen. Ich hatte gehofft daß man uddeIM irgendwann einbinden könnte. Kann man nicht uddeIM unabhängig von Joomla in seiner jetzigen Form in einem Container in Kunena einbinden? (Die Frage eines Unwissenden) ;-)

Das ist leider nicht möglich, denn Uddeim muss auf die Benutzerinformationen aus der Joomla-Installation zugreifen können..
Eine Alternative wäre der Community Builder, der ebenfalls eine PM Variante enthält, allerdings ist diese Software zu umfangreich wenn man nur die PM Option verwenden will.
In Kunena 6.0 wird es aber die Möglichkeit geben, einem Benutzer direkt auf einen Beitrag entweder privat oder öffentlich zu antworten. Die private Antwort kann dann nur dieser eine Benutzer (dem privat geantwortet wurde), als auch auch die Moderatoren sehen.
