Kunena 7.0.4 Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.4 [K 7.0.4] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0

Thanks, I do not want to became crazy, i need a normal use of IM alike other big forum software. Kunena is very known forum software and I have a very big forum. But the PM is a very needed part of the forum. The kunena staff did not implemented into their code. I made a mistake in choosing it but the mistake is made and I cannot change forum software. For me a forum software has to be also a PM changing software. So I hope that the staff will code it. But I don't think that they will create that big function, why did not do it in the past?

At the time that we heard that UddeIm won't be developped for Joomla! 4.0 and beyond we where in the developpement of Kunena 6.0, this was a long road with many headchaches and plenty things broken to fix
In K6.1, we have a PM-like but it works in different way than UddeIm
Maybe we should re-consider it and for a future version introduce a true PM feature
I don't provide support by PM, because this can be useful for someone else.

Great news! Handing over the project after preparing it for Joomla 4 is an exciting step. If the development hasn't begun yet, this is the perfect opportunity to dive in

(weird - quick reply didn't show my message, so just posting again)
Today, CB is working to send a message thru uddeIM. The CB plugin in components/com_comprofiler/plugin/user/plug_pms_mypmspro/library/  did not have to be changed - the API of J4 version of uddeIM has not changed.

In K6.1 it does have a very weird PM system, and I wonder what the reasons are behind it.
We used UddeIM with K5 and it was great, all of our club members really liked it, so if there was a way to revisit the PM system in K6 it would be really good.

Does the PM in K6.1 work? And if yes, how to configure it? We can contribute to give to the staff some good suggestions. A PM system in the forum is very important.
