Kunena 6.0.9.1 Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 6.0.9.1 [K 6.0.9.1] which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 4.2.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.0 and issues discovered during the development stages of K 6.0.

This is not a support forum for uddeIM or its related products. For uddeIM support you should visit the developer's website .

The information given in this category is intended to guide users who want to use uddeIM with Kunena and, mostly, was written by Kunena users. The information here is not necessarily accurate, up-to-date nor is it intended to replace the support given by the developers of uddeIM.

Just wondering if there's a way to add a pm button or link into the user profile at the side of the post where the avatar and profile info is?

Hi Sozzled the component's all working etc. (I actually used the wiki, very handy). But I was wondering if there was a way to add a PM link to the poster's info on the right of the topic for easy access without having to go through the profile of the user you want to message. Would this be CSS change in the template or does Kunena have a way to enable this automatically?

If you enable the plugin then the PM feature is enabled in Kunena and there is an icon displayed in the topic (next to the user's name) to allow you to send a PM to that user. This icon is not displayed on those posts that you make (of course - you cannot sent a PM to yourself) but it is displayed on posts made by other users (so that you can PM them).

It all depends on your configuration settings - which we know nothing about. It may help to know that information. Please watch the video vimeo.com/69818669 to learn more.

Yes it does, thanks for your help. I suppose my next question is what geberates the icon, Kunena or UddeIM? I want to make it a wee bit plainer for my users to see as they may not be typical forum users.

The PM button/link is generated by your Kunena template.
