Question Integrate uddeIM with Kunena Menu?

Hi,

Is there a way to integrate the uddeIM plugin to show the Kunena menu? I'd like to show the normal menu tabs above it so users can easily navigate between private messages and the other forum pages. Can't seem to figure out a way to make it work, even with assigning a menu module to that menu item...

The Kunena menu is just a Joomla menu. Yes, you can add any menu items you like to the Kunena menu but you have to remember that the target if a menu item must be a Joomla component, not a Joomla module.

That is a different question. I do not know enough about how uddeIM works to answer this question. Maybe you could ask your question directly to the uddeIM developer ?

If the uddeIM component allows you to display Joomla menu item then, because the Kunena menu is a Joomla menu, you should be able to do this.

Hello,

I have uddeIM installed, but it's away from Kunena (mainly because I built the menu etc. before I realised it could be incorporated into Kunena!)

What you could do is add a Module to the Kunena menu, and then display this module in a position above the uddeIM component. Other than that, I don't know... sorry.

Sozzled is right, you just add uddeIM to a menu as normal. There's only one option, so it makes it easier.

Hope this helps! :)
