Hi folks, I'm not sure if it is just happening with me, but I've upgraded from 1.6.0 to 1.6.4 and in the back-end, in the Joomla "Components" menu, Kunena Forum, isn't showing in its right position as it should follow the alphabetical order showing between J and L components. It is showing between A and C components as it was "B_kunena forum". It should be showing between J and L as normal "Kunena Forum".

Is it only with me or is anybody else getting the same menu order?

Kunena 2.0.4 | 2013-01-18 [ Pharmacopoeia ], J!1.5.25, rhuk_milkyway, CB 1.8.1, AUP 1.5.13, UddeIM 2.5 and Akeeba Backup 3.3.9

It's a bug in Joomla 1.5. Instead of using fixed name "Kunena" we are now using "COM_KUNENA" as menu item, which works both in J1.5 and J1.6. It gets translated but after sorting.

BTW: you have the same issue in other languages: items are not sorted alphabetically..

Thanks for the reply. Just to inform you, my Joomla back-end is in Portuguese-br and at Components menu all components are in alphabetical order, except for Kunena as using "Com_Kenena" may be falling between A and C as I said. :0)

In Finnish the order is the same as in English.. We just happen to have very different names for Joomla core components and they are all in very wrong order:

Mainospalkit
Kunena foorumi
Kontaktit
Uutissyötteet
Kyselyt
Etsi
Linkit

Same ordering in English.. Just almost alphabetical:

Banner
Kunena Forum
Contacts
Newsfeeds
Polls
Search
Web Links

So Joomla 1.5 orders items by their untranslated names..
