Vet means check/review/approve, toasty. :)

Yes, Colin, you can vet new messages before they are published. We use the term "review posts" instead. If you search for "review posts" in this forum , you will quickly find the answer you are looking for.

Thank you 'Sozzled'.

I read all the posts. I have tried to add some posts for the moderator to approve but can't see where these are held. I assume the moderator has to login to the forum to view the messages? One other question (if not too cheeky) where can I find documentation for setup/best practise for Kunena?

Many thanks in advance!

Moderators can view posts awaiting approval by looking at their Kunena user profile. See Moderator's Tools in the Wiki

HI Aussie Iron Man

Further to your help, may I ask you a couple of things about configuring Kunena?

When I look in my user profile, where do I see replies to posts, and how do I approve them as the button in the link you sent me is not visible?

When someone adds a post to the forum, I want to check it is OK for publication as soon as possible, is there a way to set up notifications of new posts ?

I followed your link to the Wiki but would really like to find some detailed help about managing a forum, specifically the functionality of the buttons, rules for how people use the forum, editing email templates and adding items like 'Help' and 'Rules', is there a document somewhere in Kunena explaining this?

Finally, how do I setup/edit the forum to add something in the footer (signature?)like I can see next to your profile:-

''If you benefit from our help you can show your appreciation by using the Thank You feature.
If you think I'm wrong then say "I think you're wrong." If you say "you're wrong", how do you know?''

Thanks in advance

regards

Colin
