Kunena 6.4.13 Released
The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 6.4.13 [6.4.13] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x./6.1.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 6.0
Hint: This version is primarily intended to facilitate an upgrade if Joomla was first updated to version 6.1 before Kunena was up to dated.
Question Favourite topics?
I am new to kunena, and wanted to ask if it's possible to have a feature where you can have your i.e. 6 favourite posts that you see directly when you log on to the forum? Or is this already possible? Because we are building a forum for a schools website, using Joomla 1.6, and the forum will be very large - so it would be much easier for the students if they could mark their favourite topics etc. which they can access directly when they log on.
Best regards

Yes, it's possible to show all of your favourite topics when you go into Kunena. Your favourite topics are listed at the top of the My Topics page.
In order to make a topic a "favourite" you click the FAVORITE button located at the top and bottom of the "message view" of the topic. What you can also do is make it that the My Topics view is the default view when your users connect to your forum. See Customised Menus for more information on that subject.
Does this help?

Now I just need to figure out how to configure the forum so that "my favourites" always would show on the top of the forum.

Please read what I wrote. Better still, use this topic as an example. Make this topic a favourite. Then click the My Topics tab on the Kunena menu above an you will see the topic (with a yellow background) above any other topics that you have participated in. (This is actually not a great test, in your case, because you have only posted two items. You may have to try this out on your own forum.)
