Running:
Kunea 1.6.3
Joomla 1.5.22

The 'attachments' 'add file' button does NOTHING!!! When I click it no file selection window opens. I have tried everything with no sucess. When I try using this feature on the Kunea.com forum, it works perfectly, so I don't think it is a web browser/platform related problem. I have tried this on Firefox, Safari and Chrome - same result. I am not getting paid by the hour on this job and have now spent 12 hours on the weekend trying to resolve this one thing. PLEASE TELL ME WHAT I NEED TO DO TO RESOLVE THIS. PLEASE!!! I'm begging here!

This is definitely a browser and/or OS issue. That button just calls up a standard system-specific file dialog, Kunena doesn't do anything different than the rest of Joomla (or any other web site for that matter).

The only other thing I can think of would be a javascript conflict somewhere. Try disabling some other extensions, especially ones that make use of JQuery or some other framework.

I don't have much useful information to add to this topic except to say that we've seen this issue before (and I don't remember exactly where) about the fila dialog failing to opern. My recollection (such as it is) is that the problem lies buried in the CSS.

ok - after another couple of days of banging my head against this issue, I have found itseems to be a conflict with the template that I am using (JoomlaShack Impacto). When I switch to one of the default Joomla templates, boom, the Kunena attachment browser works. Now, do you have any idea of what it is in the css that is the issue, as I have also put a tremendous amount of time into setting the site up with this template, editing the graphics, etc. and would like to use it for the site.
