I am looking for a feature in KUNENA ( I am using 1.6.1) which allows the user to mark his Thread as SOLVED .... is there a chance to do that in any way ?
Thank you

Recommend that you upgrade to K 1.6.3 ASAP.

K 1.6 does not have a topic option for "solved". Two ways that you can do this

(1) Edit the first post and change the subject - include the text "[SOLVED]". That's what many people do here at this site

(2) Create a "solved" topic icon, add it to your list of icons, and edit the first post (change the topic icon to the "solved" one)

That's what I would do. ;)

Thank you Sozzled

I like your suggestion No. 2)
I guess that's something I will try

One more question "add it to your list of icons" you wrote below... where can I find these icons .. do you have the way how to find them ?
Thanks

Like the other forum software (eg vBulletin etc) it would be good to have a feature to mark a thread as solved without manually having to edit a thread and create new topic icons.

Also the way of creating topic icons should be managed in the backend like emoticons and rank manager. I used to do it (manually edit the php files and upload icons) but after upgrading kunena multiple times it became a pain and hassle to continually have to re-hack. Would be good to have this as a default feature of kunena.

You can split this off as a feature request thread if you like

still wish that i can write my forum signature through a jomsocial plugin and do it from my jomsocial profile :(
