Question edit profile, not saved.

The users on my profile have attempted to update their profile information, and for some reason it wont save even having hit the save button. Is there a way to fix this? It isn't throwing up an error, it says that it's saving, but it doesn't save the updates made to the profile.

Does this behaviour happen when you use the Blue Eagle (default) Kunena template?

Have you made any changes to Kunena? Has this behaviour always been like this with Kunena, from the very first moment that you installed the component? What is the exact version of Kunena that you are using?

Using 1.6 because 1.6.2 won't install, and no, it only started once I updated to 1.6. Actually right now when I click on edit profile I don't see anything... I'll test it in blue eagle, right now I'm using a different template. But I'll try it in the default and see if it works.

It does happen when I use the blue eagle default template. I can't edit any details now. When I hit the edit button I see the tabs user account, profile information, avatar image, forum settings. But nothing to change, I don't even see save and cancel anymore.

I asked you to tell us what was the exact version of Kunena.

K 1.6.0? K 1.6.1? K 1.6 RC1, K 1.6 RC2 K 1.6 RC3, K 1.6 beta ... ? I could go on ... and I am particularly concerned to know what what you've done about your K 1.6.2 installation problems because we haven't heard from you for a couple of days. Did you look at my response to a similar question (asked the same day) in a different topic? See Upgrade 1.6.0 to 1.6.2

So I will ask you the question again. What is the exact version of Kunena that you are using, please. To simplify matters, why not post your K 1.6 configuration report.

In what way can you not edit any details? Why have things changed?

If you showed us a picture of what "nothing to change" looked like, would it look like this ? If, in your case, the problem looks like the picture in the image in that link, then we have a Javascript library conflict. Have you ever heard about " The great Mootools/Javascript conflict discussion "?

since you wanted it... I can't read it... If I knew why things have changed I wouldn't be here asking why I can't edit details...

To the third part of the answer i haven't I'll look into it, because that does look similar to my problem, the only difference is the button placement.
