Gotcha, I will leave the existing files, and take it as it is. I mean, if a member uploads their avatar and it replaces the existing one, or if kunena upgrade(s) replace the existing user uploaded files, I guess thats what it is, ya know. I will explain it to a member when they face the replacement issue.

However, ,the reason I thought you could change the default directory is because if you notice what it says in Kunenas backend is:

In = My Site>Administrator>Kunena Forums>Forum Configuration>Avatars

Use Avatars Gallery? Yes or No: Set to Yes if you want registered users to be able to choose an avatar from a gallery you provide (/media/kunena/avatars/gallery).

from a gallery you provide - makes me assume it can be changed. I could be wrong though. :P

"From a gallery that you provide" means a subfolder of ../media/kunena/avatars/gallery

Okay, this was actually an easy procedure.

All I did was:

Open FileZilla FTP Client>>Created a New Directory in **********/home/public_html/media/kunena/avatars/gallery for each of my Avatar Gallery Categories, and copy/paste the original Avatar images from my Avatar Gallery Directories into their appropriate folders in the media/kunena/avatars/gallery folders to create the sub-folders you mentioned. Then they simply showed up as sub-folders in the user profiles.

Simple stuff...Thank you again sozzled, as I would have never thought of the idea if you had not said;

From a gallery that you provide" means a subfolder of ../media/kunena/avatars/gallery
