Question new topic notification

Good day
I installed ver 1.6.2 for the first time, my question?

I post a new topic, but I want an email notification on all reply's and all new topics?
Is this possible? If so how would I do this so that I receive a notification on anyy posts?

Hello,

You can suscribe for a whole category, each time a new topic or message will submitted in this category you will receive mail notification. Go in the category and choose subscribe.

Is there a way to receive only new topics and NOT every new post?

Actually, in K 1.6.4 there is a way to receive notifications in the way that you suggested. Unfortunately K 1.6.4 is still under development and is not available for public release at this time.

There are three settings in the K 1.6.4 configuration that control these things:

Forum Configuration » Users » User Related » Allow Subscriptions = Yes
Forum Configuration » Users » User Related » Category Subscriptions = Disabled | Email New Topic | Email New Posts
Forum Configuration » Users » User Related » Topic Subscriptions = Disabled | Email First Update | Email Every Update
