Hi,
I downloaded the newest version of the forum and tried to make it work. I read the wiki
entry for beginners and searched this forum. However, I could not find the answer to my problem. It may be because it is so simple that no one experienced it before. I try to integrate the forum through a menu link but it does not work. The forum is not offline. When I go the the link it shows me Error 404 component not found.

Do I have to enable somewhere some button to see the forum?
I also attached th configuration log.
Many thanks :)
Nina

Hello,

I don't see which new link you have set, which give you an error 404;

I don't provide support by PM, because this can be useful for someone else.

I'm wondering if the subject should be "My Kunena forum does not have a horizontal menu" and, maybe, the results of this search would help.

While we have your attention, I see that you are using J! 1.5.22 running in "legacy mode". Please read the very important information about Legacy mode and take action now to remove your dependence on this feature of Joomla that was never guaranteed to work in order to run outdated J! 1.0.x software.

Hallo and thank you for the replys.

I turned the legacy mode off and it works now!

xillibit, you could not see the error because one first has to log in. The forum should be only for the students.

Many thanks for both of you for takeing the time to help!

Nina
