Kunena 7.0.2 Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.2 [K 7.0.2] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.3.x/5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0

Topics that are moved into this category are generally considered to be closed. Users may want to add additional information but these topics should not be resurrected in order to discuss new problems or unrelated matters.

is it possible to upload an image (a photo) ? not as attachment but directly as a photo in the post ?

I could be mistaken but I believe this was possible in the past with fireboard. Then again its been so long so I forgot.

Just as a matter of interest, Josh, do you still have Fireboard installed on your website? That might be the reason why your forum is taking so long to load.

And the short answer to your question: of course it's possible to upload and post images in Kunena 1.6.

Now I know why we where both confused! :laugh: It's because the attachment system is different from the past, in the past it was two uploading systems, one for files, and other for photos. Now it's all integrated into one attachment. Sweet! Glad I figured that one out.

As for fireboard I got rid of it long time ago, but there are still a few fireboard database tables in my sql database which are pretty much the same as the kunena except they have fb rather than kunena. I guess I'll back them up and delete the fireboard entries.

BTW- Love the dummy picture! :)

The function to add a file works too with photos in jpg, png, pdf if allowed...
