system - mootools12 is now enabled, as is system - mootools upgrade. I can now create a poll but change my vote wont work. still cant delete, edit or reply to posts

Right then. The last few issues with buttons and the text disappearing seem to be down to compatibility with the template. It is the only downloaded template I have ever used, actually I think this was the first ever Joomla site I did. I have tried some of the other templates I've created for customers and the buttons work fine with them and the text doesn't creep off the edge of the page so now I just have to rebuild the template from one of those and we are in business.

This topic has covered a lot of ground. I am trying to keep the discussion focused and on topic.

As far as the subject of this topic is concerned, have we adequately addressed the matter of being able to delete a topic (which you call a "thread")? If not, in what way, specifically, are you asking for help?

Well,

The buttons t the bottom of each post weren't showing so I was unable to delete a post, edit, quote, or anythig else. I have fixed the CSS bug which was a confilct with my template and it is now working.

Thank you for your intention to help but I worked until 4.30am and fixed it myself as it was truly urgent.

I shall start new threads for the rest of my issues.
