Menu Alias Problem was created by softstor
I am having a menu alias problem with Kunena.

I did a new installation of Kunena a few days ago. When completing the installation it created a new entry into the Menu Manager that contains a set of Kunena menus. I set the alias and title of this menu to 'Forum'.

I wanted to have a top level menu that the user can click to access this forum. I then created a new top level menu in the Menu Manager and selected 'Kunena Forum' and then selected 'Entry Page'. I called the title 'Forum' and the alias 'Forums'.

My website can be seen at www.pyxismteamone.com/

The forum is correctly displayed when you click on the Forum option from the main menu. But if you just highlight the Forum Menu Button the link shows up as 'forums'. Now if you click on it the link is changed to 'forum' as it should.

I would like the link in my top menu to show up as 'forum'. I tried changing the alias from 'forums' to 'forum' and it just sits there frozen when the user clicks on this forum button. It seems that I can not have two aliases named 'forum'.

How can I have the link of my top menu show up as 'forum' while keeping this link when the user is shown the forum?

I was able to solve the problem.

When creating the top menu I selected the type alias and it seems to work.
