Kunena 7.0.5 & Kunena 6.4.11 – Security Updates Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.5 [K 7.0.5] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0.

The Kunena team is also pleased to announce the eleventh version of Kunena 6.4, a native Joomla extension for Joomla! 5.0, 5.1, 5.2, 5.3, 5.4 and 6.0.

Hi,

I am using Kunena on my website www.opensourcevarsity.com since months.

Recently I upgrade from Kunena 1.5.x to Kunena 1.6.0.

After the upgrade, Kunena was working perfectly.

Recently a week back I noticed that the users of my site were unable to post any new thread in my forum.

When a new user, click on a particular forum head and for posting a new thread, the user clicks on the New Topic Button. After filling the message / question, when the user clicks the Submit button, the thread does not get posted. Instead the user is taken to a page in which the following message is displayed "There are no forums in this category!"

I have not made any changes in the Configuration Setting of Kunena. I do not get any error message also.

Can any one help me?

I am using AceSef for search engine friendly URL's.

Please make sure that the Kunena URLs are optimized by the internal Joomla! functions.
Enable debug mode in Joomla! and Kunena cause this way you can provide more specific information for us.

Hi haithun,

thanks for the reply. I did enable the debug mode in Joomla and Kunena but I did not find error to provide more specific information.

I cant use internal URL optimized functions provided by Joomla, I am using AceSef for URL optimized functions.
