Kunena 7.0.5 & Kunena 6.4.11 – Security Updates Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.5 [K 7.0.5] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0.

The Kunena team is also pleased to announce the eleventh version of Kunena 6.4, a native Joomla extension for Joomla! 5.0, 5.1, 5.2, 5.3, 5.4 and 6.0.

In my Kunena 1.6 forum, if I add an image into a post and click on it, 3 different Lightbox opening. So after I see it I have to close 3 different lightbox.
How to make image appears in one lightbox?

For Kunena 1.6.1 we added a config parameter whether or not to use the Kunena supplied lighbox. If you have two more, that means you have at least one too many in your system setup (profile, plugins or modules).

With the upcoming 1.6.1 you will be able to disable the Kunena lightbox if you want to use a different one through your site template.

Hi fxstein,

Was this feature you mentioned implemented in V1.6.1?

I ask as I have 1.6.1 and there is an option to enable Lightbox for Kunena, but when it is enabled I get two light boxes (as reported by the user).

When I turn it off I get none - not the Kunena light box nor the third party one I use.

If you click on a image you see the issue.

Another issues is the Kunena light box is not displaying correctly. Only half the image is displayed. (half width).

Hello,

You have a configuration setting for disable lightbox in k1.6.1 in the kunena configuration panel, in the tab frontend.

For the other issue, it will be fixed in k1.6.2.
I don't provide support by PM, because this can be useful for someone else.

Hi Xillibit,

Thanks for the reply. What I meant to say was I know I can disable lightbox using the configuration panel in the tab frontend. However, when I disable the Kunena lightbox it also disables my thirdparty lightbox module. So I have to use the currently buggy Kunena one or use none.

Great to hear the lightbox issues will be fixed in V1.6.2.
