Question Error in Editing profile

magic for some reason the barcode started to show...at last...Im not sure what I did to get it to work. This might be it. while installing 1.6 I usually chose the migrate this time i chose the upgrade option. That is all I remember doing different.

1. My BBCode Editor panel disapeared. I only have smiley faces but no edit panel.
2. I suddenly starte gettingthis message:

It is somewhat unfortunate that the same cause of all of these problems is the area that people are having the most difficulty understanding. Further, not everyone is aware of all the symptoms that the source of these issues causes. For some people they only see the "problems with editing profiles"; for others they only see that they can't use the Quick Reply or Forumjump features; for others, still, they only see that the BBcode toolbar is missing.

Sometimes these issues have different causes but, if you have all of these symptoms, then the cause is known and well-documented. The cause of all of these problems lies in complications that arise on users' websites with Javascript.

If you would like to know more about Joomla and Javascript, please read Mootools 1.2.4 . It is quite unlikely that your problems will be any different from those already under discussion elsewhere.
