Kunena 7.0.2 Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.2 [K 7.0.2] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.3.x/5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0

Topics that are moved into this category are generally considered to be closed. Users may want to add additional information but these topics should not be resurrected in order to discuss new problems or unrelated matters.

Kunena doesn't have a private message integrated on it but drive you to use a third party component to do that.

UddeIm is good choice, if you are using Jomsocial this integrate a pm system in it so you can use it.
I don't provide support by PM, because this can be useful for someone else.

Already up and running!!!!

You just have to watch out when creating lists! The default delimiter did not work for me, but after I changed it to ';' it was fine.

"UddeIm is good choice" is a perfect understatement. Works perfect with KUNENA, integrates very nicely into my site and is very logical as far as the setup goes.

I cannot find how one member can send another member a private message. Is there functionality like this or an extension that provides this functionality? I couldn't fine either.

If there isn't a functionality like this, it 'really' needs to be implemented.

Best choice would probably be uddeIM!

extensions.joomla.org/extensions/communication/pms/3206

This is an option in Kunena's backend under integration in the config section.

As I understand, sending PM (private messages) between forum users is not a standard feature of kunena 1.6.3, I'm right?

(Yes, I will upgrade to 1.6.4 asap)
