Kunena 6.3.0 released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 6.3.0 [K 6.3.0] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 4.4.x/5.0.x/5.1.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 6.3

Topics that are moved into this category are generally considered to be closed. Users may want to add additional information but these topics should not be resurrected in order to discuss new problems or unrelated matters.

Just a question to make sure that we didn't make a mistake with the settings.
Users are allowed an edit time of 30 minutes (1800 seconds). This works well.
But: sometimes moderators edit the topic by adding a warning or other information. Now we see that users can edit the topic again for 30 minutes after the moderator has edited.

As I read the text:

Set to 0 for unlimited time, else window in seconds from post or last modification to allow edit.

It seems normal behaviour as it states: "or last modification".

So I am right and should I make a feature request, or is there a setting that we missed?

Hello Pinkeltje and welcome to Kunena.org.

I have confirmed that in K 1.7.2 the User Edit Time is dependant on the modified_time field in the #__kunena_messages table, so that field does get changed when a moderator edits the post. Hope this answers your question.

I will pas this on to the Devs as a future feature request.
