Hi,

I have two problems:

1. The link to the category "HOC Hotel > Allgemeine Informationen" leads to the category "Airport Office One > Allgemeine Informationen" (see attachments "120129_kunena_mislink_1_2.gif" [before clicking] and "120129_kunena_mislink_2_2.gif" [after clicking])

2. I created a new Usergroup "Architekten" with "ArtofUser" and put one User in it ("kheinrichs"; see attachment "120129_kunena_accessproblem_1_3.gif"). Then I set the permissions as you see in attachment "120129_kunena_accessproblem_2_3.gif".
But when I click on the category "Airport Office One" the access is denied (see attachment "120129_kunena_accessproblem_3_3.gif".
Opening category "Airport Office One > Allgemeine Informationen" works. (?)

Can soemone help?

First issue is a bug in sh404SEF routing: if there are more than one category with the same name, they need to have different url. Kunena fixes this issue by adding category id, but it looks like sh404SEF doesn't do it. You can either use Kunena router in sh404SEF or contact them with the bug.

The information you gave isn't enough to figure out what's happening in the second use case. You may need to save the user (or category) in kunena to refresh our cache, but in principle it should work.

Matias he has Legacy mode turned on, does he need this in K 1.7.1? That could be causing issues, maybe not this one in particular but others not seen now?

Thanks, I stopped sh404SEF and it works. Where can I find the kunena router for sh404SEF?

This is very irritating:

The shown and accessible categories of the kunena forum DON NOT follow the permissions I set.
Either there are still shown (though the user is set into other groups), or there are not shown (though the user is allowed to see them).

(I cleaned the browser cache and the joomla cache. And I logged the user out and in.)

What can I do else? What informations do you need more to help?

sh404SEF: you were already using the router -- which seems to have a bug in it. Please report the bug to sh404SEF developers that they can fix it.

Second issue: The issue sounds like the user permission caching issue we have in K1.7 (which has been fixed for 2.0 -- if user logs out and back in). If you change user groups, you also need to go to Kunena and Sync users with default settings (first item checked).

Some more informations:

I am running two sites - mastersite and slavesite - with "multisite" ( www.jms2win.com ) ober one database.
The users are held in the tables of the mastersite with the prefix "mpm_" (tablename: "mpm_users"); artofuser is also installed in the mastersite (mpm_artofuser_blocked", "mpm_artofuser_notes") and not installed on the slavesite.

In order to have specialized forums, I run in each site a separately kunena forum (tables: "mpm_kunena_..." and "zertifizierung_kunena_...")

So this time I tested if permission changes show results on the frontend.

- And it looks that permission changes result to changes the way categories are shown - but only in the mastersite (with its own kunena forum).

- When I do permission changes on the slave site, changes on the slavesite frontend are not, or very delayed shown.

I do not really understand why.

Between what tables does the sync works?

Do you have any other idea to solve the problem?
