Hey there Kunena team!

I have a site installed with Community Builder and Kunena 1.7.1.
There are 2 sections in the forum: one for a special kind of users and one for every registered member. The latter is also visible to the public.

The problem is, it turns out only super users can post new topics or reply to existing ones. I checked and none of the categories are locked. I also tried changing the access control between CB and Joomla in the Integration tab of the settings, with no luck.

EDIT: I forgot to mention the error's nature. I can click NEW TOPIC or REPLY with any user, it correctly tries to load e.g. /forum/newtopic/9-kocsma for new topic, but it returns with an HTTP 303 See Other, redirecting back to the referring page.

Can you please suggest something? I've been trying to work this out for a few days now, and my client is not happy about this.

Thanks!

You have issues with your Kunena menu. See the image below that shows the default access settings:

I suggest that you delete you existing menu and rebuild it. See How do I restore my Kunena menu?.

The biggest problem that you seem to have is the HTTP 303 See Other error. This is most likely caused by something you have done in Joomlal; however, I don't know what you have done.

Thanks for the help!

I did rebuild the menu, but it wasn't the problem: it turns out I had invalid captcha settings (min. post number for no captcha was 3, but the public and private key fields were empty).

Works as expected now, thanks again!

Have a nice day
