Bug [Problem assumed resolved - no response from user] ReCaptcha doesn´t work

There ist a big problem with the ReCaptcha.

The Spam-Protection in the board and in the discuss-plugin didn´t runs correctly. Sometimes you can fill out what you want and post what you want.

Test it on 2 sites.

Maybe there is the code "cottage newsVA" for protection.
You can use all the are similiar to that: "cotage newsV"

Some people have tried to tell us that there is a "big problem" in Kunena with reCAPTCHA. Most of those questions have been resolved because people did not know how to use reCAPTCHA properly. Did you read Using CAPTCHA spam protection in Kunena ?

Let me be absolutely clear on this point: you say that Kunena Discuss allows your users - are they guest users or registered members - to post anything they like irrespective of the CAPTHCA challenge? If that it the case, we definitely need to know a lot more about what versions of all relevant software you are using on your website. Thank you.

Have Joomla 1.7. / The Newest Kunena-Version / the Newest Plugin-Versions / - Guest can write something, if they fill out the ReCaptcha code. Use the Captcha in Forum and Discuss-Plugin

You may have read Using CAPTCHA spam protection in Kunena and you may be having problems but you haven't read the posting guide (printed at the top of this page). If you want our help then you have to help us.

So, here's the deal: when you've posted your configuration report, we will be able to respond to this topic. It's my guess that you haven't setup your forum properly or you're not using a supported version of Kunena or you've got something else installed on your site that's preventing reCAPTCHA from working properly. But, in the absence of any evidence, that's just a guess.
