I'm seeing a simple list of links, without any other information whenever I click Configuration, I recently updated from 1.6 to 1.7.

Suddenly some posts in my forums are blank 500 errors, which run under debug show nothing, nothing in apache logs, very confused.

Under Joomla Debug, when I goto Forum Configuration:
Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 25165824 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 7680 bytes) in /hsphere/local/home/matthewm/yottaquest.com/administrator/components/com_kunena/libraries/integration/profile.php on line 36

When I goto some post:
Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 25165824 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 16384 bytes) in /hsphere/local/home/matthewm/yottaquest.com/libraries/joomla/language/language.php on line 353

Spoke to my Host and allocated more memory, that fixed all current problems.

I'm pleased to hear that you resolved your out-of-memory errors. I would also suggest that you read Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) if you want to use SEF URLs.
